Hello, et bonjour to you All
& Happy New Year

...simply sat by a roaring log-filled fire on a chilled & ever-whitening snowy afternoon, & just prior to stepping into the adventures of another new year, I wanted to wish you all an unbelievably happy & prosperous, & of course healthy 2010 - inundated with fun, & enveloped with love & laughter!

With sadness Frocked.co.uk has now closed, & the main
business Frocked de la Vallière ltd will not be trading into 2010.

After a fashionably-full 5 years (from covering London Catwalks & American boutiques to Australians online, alongside Daisy Lowe, Isabella Blow, Sian Lloyd, & The Apprentice.....Fashion Enter/Capital, Cheshire Life, Daily Post, BBC, & nearly ASOS & Harrods etc etc etc; where was Vogue??) it has not been an easy decision but one that sadly I have had to make. Relocation to somewhere new will, hopefully at some point in the future, start the beginnings of a re-launch of la Vallière designs but for the moment all will be packed away very carefully - in lots & lots of boxes....to be unpacked & thus re-discovered all over again on another, but hopefully sunnier day ;))

So many individuals, employees, students, graduates, volunteers, suppliers, photographers, media etc & organisations have helped Frocked along our path & I give so many thanks to you all, & of course we would not be present if it were not for our stylishly wonderful customers! a BIG THANKYOU to ALL of you & FrockedFriends for your invaluable support over these last 5 years - we wish you well & so much happiness & do hope to see you again in our future.

(It still evokes such an immense & delightful feeling in me, when I hear the gasps from people pon first catching a glimpse of a fabulous Frocked posh frock, & the 'oooh's & aaah's' from the corsets; & not just when being fitted into ;) & of course the impeccably sexy office workwear range that never fails to turn heads, whether from a man or woman; ever so très chic with our
own unique sexy bit of tailoring!)

New beginnings & new adventures await us all in this new & hope-filled year of 2010.....I truly wish you all a fabulously fun & beautiful New Year's Eve; be safe & happy into the next year of new ventures :)
